Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and AiLaiLe Technology Limited(“Linage”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Hong Kong with its registered address at RM 102, 1/F, THE CLOUD, 111 TUNG CHAU STREET, Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong.

By accessing or using Linage at https://linage.ailaile.tech, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms are intended for business users and professional use; they do not exclude statutory consumer rights that may apply to you under applicable law.

Linage is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product that connects to your Linear workspace via OAuth, fetches cycle and issue metadata, computes engineering metrics, and uses AI to generate narrative weekly reports. Reports can be viewed in-browser, shared via link, and delivered to Slack or emailed as a report link to your inbox. We do not generate or attach PDF files; to save a report as PDF, open the report link and use your browser's print function.

Features and functionality may change over time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid subscriptions.

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. We do not knowingly provide the service to persons under 16.

Free tier — you may generate up to 3 reports total at no cost. Free tier reports include Linage branding.

Pro ($29/month or $290/year) — unlimited reports, Slack and email delivery, 12-month report history, and historical trend charts for one Linear workspace.

Team ($79/month or $790/year) — all Pro features plus up to 3 workspaces, multi-team dashboard, white-label reports, and custom delivery schedule.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time via Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the current paid period. No refunds are provided for unused time in a paid period unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ written notice to existing subscribers. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are in US dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, withholding, or duties that apply to your use of the service.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at ailailetech@gmail.com.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service.
• Use the service to generate reports for Linear workspaces you do not have authorisation to access.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without our prior written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers, or underlying infrastructure.
• Circumvent the free tier limit by creating multiple accounts.
• Upload, transmit, or use the service to process content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights.

Linage integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality, including Linear (data source), Slack (optional delivery), Stripe (billing), Resend (email), AI providers such as Anthropic and others (report generation), Supabase (data storage), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, availability, or data practices of third-party services.

A current list of subprocessors is available in our Privacy Policy — Data Sharing section. We may update subprocessors as needed and will notify you of material changes.

Disconnecting your Linear workspace from Linage does not revoke Linear’s own OAuth token — you must also revoke access directly in your Linear account settings.

The Linage software, user interface, and brand are owned by AiLaiLe Technology Limited and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all data originating from your Linear workspace. By using Linage, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you during the term of your use.

AI-generated reports are provided for your use. We make no claim of authorship or ownership over the narrative content generated on your behalf. AI outputs may reflect biases or inaccuracies inherent to the underlying AI model.

Reports are generated using AI language models and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for your own engineering judgment, financial analysis, or professional advice. Always review AI-generated content before sharing with leadership or making decisions based on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty that cannot be disclaimed under applicable mandatory law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us in the three months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) USD $10.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law, including any statutory rights available to consumers.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AiLaiLe Technology Limited and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your use of the service in violation of applicable law; or (c) data you provide or access through the service that infringes any third-party rights.

You may close your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account. All your workspace data, metrics, and reports will be permanently deleted within 30 days, subject to backup and legal retention obligations.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the service, with or without notice, if: (a) you breach these Terms; (b) your payment fails and is not resolved within the grace period; (c) we are required to do so by law; or (d) we discontinue the service. On termination for breach, no refund is owed for unused subscription time.

We reserve the right to discontinue the service at any time with at least 30 days’ written notice to active subscribers.

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Where we act as a data processor on your behalf under GDPR or equivalent law, our processing activities are described in the Privacy Policy. By using the service, you confirm that any personal data you submit through Linear or otherwise has been collected and shared lawfully.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. For non-material changes (such as corrections or clarifications), we may post an updated version without advance notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from or in connection with these Terms or the service shall first be addressed by contacting us at ailailetech@gmail.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Nothing in this clause affects your right to seek urgent or interim injunctive relief, or any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence.

• Entire agreement — these Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
• Severability — if any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
• No waiver — our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment — you may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
• Force majeure — we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
• Language — these Terms are written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only; the English version governs.
